About me

I’m Duan Mengran, a freelance illustrator from China, currently living in Milan.
Besides creating illustrations and picture books, I also turn my artworks into lovely products — hoping to share this warm little world with more people.

At the same time, because I’m passionate about fine art, I’m also pursuing my Master’s degree at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan.

I started drawing when I was very little — my mom used to take me to her classroom when she had to work. While she was teaching on the podium, I would secretly draw little ducks on the floor with chalk. That’s how it all began, and I’ve kept drawing ever since.
Painting has become an inseparable part of me — it heals me and serves as my way of expression.

Finally, I hope my art can make your day a little brighter. 🌷
